PreviousSara is the best therapist I have ever been to. I was able to speak to her easily, which I have never been easy for me to do with other therapists I have seen. I recommend anyone who is looking for counseling to see her!

When I first came to see Sara Banks I was at one of the deepest levels of despair in my life. I had suffered a great number of losses and they seemed to continue to keep coming at me, like in the movie The Birds. My family was in various stages of transitioning, including myself, into something that I didn’t recognize and wasn’t sure how to handle. Sara was a great help to me during our time together. She identified that the person I had been was still inside, just deeply hurt and hiding – hiding from pain and loss. Through her patience and perseverance she provided me with the security and gentle coaxing needed to give me the skills to handle the difficult times and situations. I think the situation I brought to Sara was quite challenging, but she was able to provide me with the skills I needed to learn to find my way. When presented with a situation I find myself very uncomfortable with now, I use the “Sara method,” by stopping and being mindful of what is going on and ask, “What would Sara say?” For me, it’s like having a lifelong supporting friend with me, to keep the birds away. I cannot thank Sara enough for her kindness, patience and obviously the counseling skills she possesses. I will keep her number on my phone, she will always be there for me. Thank you, Sara.
