Telehealth Specialties

What we treat online.

All of our specialties are available via telehealth. Our therapists are trained to deliver effective virtual treatment for:

Why Choose Virtual?

Virtual therapy is ideal if...

  • You live outside Naperville or far from specialists
  • You have a busy schedule with no time to commute
  • You feel more comfortable in your own environment
  • You have mobility limitations or chronic illness
  • You travel frequently for work within Illinois
  • You need flexibility for childcare or work
  • You experience anxiety about leaving home

Student Support

Online therapy for college students.

Whether you're attending school in Illinois or heading home for breaks, we can help you maintain continuity of care.

Students at Illinois Colleges

If you attend school anywhere in Illinois—U of I, Northwestern, DePaul, Illinois State, SIU, or any other IL institution—you can access our telehealth services from your dorm or apartment.

  • Therapy from your dorm or apartment
  • Flexible scheduling around classes
  • No need to find a new therapist each semester
  • Continue care during breaks when you're home

Illinois Residents at Out-of-State Schools

If you attend college in another state, telehealth laws require you to be physically located in Illinois during our sessions.

  • Yes Sessions during winter/spring/summer breaks in IL
  • Yes Sessions when you're home for weekends
  • No Sessions while on your out-of-state campus
Why? Therapists must be licensed in the state where the client is physically located during the session.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Yes. Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy is equally effective as in-person treatment for most conditions, including anxiety, depression, and OCD. Some clients actually prefer it because they feel more relaxed in their own environment.

EMDR has been successfully adapted for telehealth using visual cues on screen, audio tones, or self-administered bilateral stimulation (like butterfly tapping). Our therapists are trained in these virtual protocols.

Yes! One of the advantages of online couples counseling is that partners can join from different locations when needed—great for travel schedules or long-distance situations.

Currently, our therapists are licensed in Illinois only. You must be physically located in Illinois during your sessions. If you're moving to Illinois or visiting, we can discuss your options.

We'll send you connection instructions before your first session and can troubleshoot during your appointment. If video fails, we can switch to phone as a backup.

Yes! We accept the same PPO insurance plans for telehealth as we do for in-person sessions: BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare PPO plans.
